Thank you for registering to pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit.
To set your direct debit up over the phone, or if you experience any problems setting this up online, please call (01639) 686 188 and a member of our customer services team will be happy to set it up for you.
All the normal Direct Debit Safeguards and guarantees apply. No changes in the amount, date, or frequency to be debited can be made without notifying you at least 10 working days in advance of your account being debited.
In the event of an error, you are entitled to an immediate refund from your Bank or Building Society.
You have the right to cancel a Direct Debit Instruction at any time simply by writing to your Bank or Building Society, with a copy to us.
This form will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Please make sure that you have your bank details to hand.
Please be aware that banks and building societies may not accept Direct Debit instructions from some types of accounts
If you have received a Reminder, Final Notice, Summons or any other Enforcement action you should NOT complete the online Direct Debit form but contact Council Tax Recovery on (01639) 686188 (option 3) without delay.
